An Emcee with a “Lion’s Heart”

One of the groups I enjoy being a part of is the Lion’s Heart Service organization. I get to do good and serve others with fellow teen volunteer leaders that I am proud to call my friends! We get to hang out together and serve our community which is so awesome. This organization is all about my generation seeing all generations that need help and then DOING something about it. Lion’s Heart has so many ways for teens to volunteer their time and talents for those in need. That is something I am super proud to be a part of.

At the end of each school year, Lion’s Heart has annual Award Ceremonies across the nation to recognize and celebrate all the teen volunteer leaders that have served a minimum of 30 hours or more for the school year in their communities.

I was so honored and thankful to be asked to Emcee this event for our particular chapter and to recognize my fellow Lion’s Heart members that are out there being agents for change in our community, putting others first. It is always so cool to see all the teens that are actively engaged in our community.

This great group of teens continues to inspire me to do good and think of others in my daily life. We all have a “Lion’s Heart” within each of us. We just need an excellent organization like this one to make our hearts roar and roar loudly! If you are a teen like me, you should check out local chapters in your area. Make your roar count!
